Abstract

Persoalan masalah sampah dewasa ini menjadi sebuah tamparan tidak hanya bagi pemerintahan namun juga bagi masyarakat sekitar. Sampah tersebut dikelola dengan beragam cara agar lingkungan kehidupan menjadi lebih baik.  Isu sampah ini lalu dilihat dari perspektif kemanusiaan dan pendidikan yang diserap kedalam media sosial Instagram. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memalhami bagaimana pengelolaan media sosial Instagram yang membedakan komunitass Jabar Bergerak Zillenial dengan berfokus pada masalah sampah melalui pesan edukasi. Penulis menggunakan teori New Media oleh Pierre Levy. Metode yang digunalkan dalam penelitian ini adalalh kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan media sosial Instagram @Jaberzillenial ini selama prosesnya melibatkan identifikasi identifikasi informasi, seleksi konten relevan, dan pembentukkan realitas media.

The issue of waste today is a slap in the face not only for the government but also for the surrounding community. The waste is managed in various ways so that the living environment becomes better.  This waste issue is then seen from a humanitarian and educational perspective that is absorbed into the social media Instagram. The purpose of this research is to analyse the balgalimalnal management of Instagram social media that differentiates the Jabar Bergerak Zillenial Communities by focusing on the waste problem through educational messages. The author uses the theory of New Media by Pierre Levy. The method used in this research is quallaltif with a case study approach. The results showed that the management of Instagram @Jaberzillenial social media during the process involved the identification of information identification, selection of relevant content, and the formation of media reality.
