An experienced teacher is expected to be able to carry out his responsibilities in the learning process with enthusiasm and fun. Reality shows that the learning process in schools is often considered boring and ineffective, so educational goals are not achieved. This research aims to examine the meaning and essence that emerge from the QS. Al-’Ashr verses 1–3 by considering the opinions of commentators regarding the value or education-related content of the QS. Al-’Ashr verses 1-3, regarding the importance of time, faith, good deeds, and behaving in truth and patience in the formation of teacher competence. This research uses a library research style, and Tahlili interpretation is used in this research. The results show that teacher competence from the Surat Al-Ashr perspective involves managing time wisely, understanding students' potential and needs, instilling the value of faith, supporting holistic growth, providing positive advice, and maintaining patience in educating.
Tri Yugo Copyright (c) 2024 Tri Yugo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journals.unisba.ac.id/index.php/takafu/article/view/3607 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0800 PATTERNS OF STUDENT BEHAVIOR TOWARDS FEMINISM OF WOMEN WITH DISABILITIES IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF HADITH AT UIN KH. ABDURRAHMAN WAHID PEKALONGAN https://journals.unisba.ac.id/index.php/takafu/article/view/3611
Women with disabilities have always been considered weak and underappreciated in various ways, resulting in the denial of their rights to education, health, employment, and justice. The viewpoint of feminism emanating from the west is not a strange entity for the east. This is actually considered good, we can even see this in the behavior of the Prophet, who showed humanist characteristics in women by respecting gender equality in various fields. This research is located at UIN KH Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan and describes issues of disability feminism and behavior in women with disabilities. The stages of research through data collection (observation, interviews, and documentation) are continued with data analysis and finally drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the pattern of feminist behavior that occurs in women with disabilities does not all see them as weak, some even admire their determination, so that the existence of feminism does not limit women with disabilities from developing their talents. However, sometimes, with their limitations, they have no friends. One of the women with disabilities is always patient and enthusiastic about living her life. Closely related to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), it is about respecting women on behalf of their wives and Muslim women in the early days of Islam with their rights in economic, social, positional, and other ways. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the Holy Prophet is a profile of a prophet who is feminist, non-discriminatory, humanist, and universal.
Ananda Aprilia Aulia Syahna Copyright (c) 2024 Ananda Aprilia Aulia Syahna https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journals.unisba.ac.id/index.php/takafu/article/view/3611 Mon, 20 May 2024 00:00:00 +0800 FEMINISM ACTIVISTS’ INTERPRETATION OF THE INHERITANCE VERSE https://journals.unisba.ac.id/index.php/takafu/article/view/3619
The division of inheritance which refers to inheritance verses still leaves unresolved problems, such as the 2:1 division between men and women which is considered gender biased. Surah al-Nisa/4: 11 which explains that men's share is twice that of women is the maximum limit. Under certain conditions a woman has the potential to have more shares. This research aims to determine the distribution of inheritance. This research method uses a type of library research. Library research or library research using methods of collecting library data, reading, taking notes and processing research materials. This research uses a qualitative approach because the data source and research results in the library research that the researcher will carry out are in the form of descriptions of words. The results of this research show that the main principle that must be guided by the distribution of inheritance in Islamic law is justice. The most prominent provision in the inheritance distribution system in Islamic law is found in Surah al-Nisa/4: 11, where one man's share is the same as the share of two women or in a ratio (2:1), textually this provision does seem unfair and exclude women more. However, the justice contained in this verse is not justice based on numbers and quantities, but by looking at the functions, duties, roles and responsibilities of men and women. The portion of justice for humans is certainly different from justice in the eyes of Allah SWT.
Dedi Abdul Aziz Copyright (c) 2024 Dedi Abdul Aziz https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journals.unisba.ac.id/index.php/takafu/article/view/3619 Mon, 27 May 2024 00:00:00 +0800 WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP IN THE PUBLIC SPACE https://journals.unisba.ac.id/index.php/takafu/article/view/3623
The relationship between men and women, both in the domestic and public spheres, is explained in QS. Al-Nisā/4: 34. The interpretations of ulama in the past were considered gender biased, but on the other hand, there are still things that can be applied from these interpretations, through deconstruction efforts. This article is here to understand QS. Al-Nisā/4: 34 in depth regarding the interpretations of commentators from time to time. The aim of this research is formulated in two ways: (1) examining the interpretation of the ulama towards the word qawwām and (2) deconstructing this interpretation to present a new alternative that is relevant today. This research uses a literature study with a descriptive-analytical model. The results obtained from this research show that the interpretations of previous scholars basically carry the same spirit, namely care and respect for women. Deconstruction efforts were carried out by analyzing the chronology of the revelation of the verse, which suggests egalitarianism. Apart from that, when the conditions and circumstances that make men become qawwām are transferred and owned by women, it can be said that women's leadership in the public sphere is no longer something that needs to be debated, considering that men and women have the same opportunity to have the potential.
Dwi Tio Nurpahlevi, Rijal Ali Copyright (c) 2024 Dwi Tio Nurpahlevi, Rijal Ali https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journals.unisba.ac.id/index.php/takafu/article/view/3623 Tue, 21 May 2024 00:00:00 +0800 WOMEN'S TESTIMONY IN THE QUR'AN IN ASGHAR ALI ENGINEER'S PERSPECTIVE https://journals.unisba.ac.id/index.php/takafu/article/view/3624
Discussions about gender issues in contemporary times are never-ending topics, including in the realm of Islamic studies. This study examines women's testimonies in Asghar Ali Engineer's thoughts, which are analyzed using Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutical phenomenological framework. Engineer's thoughts regarding women's testimony are important to discuss because of the dismantling of the discourse he carried out regarding verses with gender connotations in the Al-Qur'an, which often do not follow the mainstream interpretation. This research is library research with qualitative research methods. The primary source for this research is Asghar Ali Engineer's interpretation of verses from women's testimonies, while the secondary sources used are other literature sources that are relevant to the research, both in the form of books and journal articles. This research aims to track and explore Asghar Ali Engineer's thoughts regarding the verses in women's testimonies. The author uses Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutic phenomenology theory in analyzing Asghar Ali's thoughts. The results of this research were the engineer's re-reading of the verse about women's testimony, namely QS. Al-Baqarah/2: 282. In Paul Ricoer's concept of hermeneutical phenomenology, engineers go through a process of decontextualization-recontextualization in order to obtain new meanings that are relevant to the current context. In the decontextualization process, Engineer explained the socio-cultural conditions at the time the verse was revealed, which implied that women lacked knowledge and experience regarding business, so that one additional female witness was needed as a reminder, and it did not fully mean that women's status was half that of men. The recontextualization process includes three stages, namely semantic, reflexive, and existential. In the modern context where women are more educated about financial matters, even more so than men, there is nothing to prevent a woman's position as a witness from being equal to that of a man.
Nada Rahmatina Copyright (c) 2024 Nada Rahmatina https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journals.unisba.ac.id/index.php/takafu/article/view/3624 Tue, 21 May 2024 00:00:00 +0800
