KECEMASAN TIK DAN KECANDUAN SMARTPHONE: DAMPAK PADA KARYAWAN MUDA DI JAWA

Perkembangan teknologi di dunia kerja yang semakin masif menyebabkan perusahaan dituntut untuk cepat beradaptasi. Namun, perubahan ini tidak bisa di terima oleh semua karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecemasan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dan kecanduan smartphone terhadap kinerja karyawan pada generasi Y dan Z. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode survei dan teknik purposive sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 162 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi berganda dan uji dominan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan ataupun penurunan kecemasan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi karyawan tidak mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Semakin meningkatnya kecanduan smartphone justru akan menaikkan kinerja karyawan. Jika dibandingkan, kecemasan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi generasi Y lebih dominan mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Generasi Z pada variabel kecanduan smartphone, lebih dominan mempengaruhi daripada generasi Y. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa berbagai perusahaan dapat memberikan kebijakan-kebijakan peningkatan kinerja yang disesuaikan dengan perilaku digital oleh masing-masing generasi. Terkait dengan penelitian di masa depan, masih banyak 'kotak hitam' yang harus dieksplorasi akibat perubahan ekonomi-sosial-kultural akibat pandemi Covid-19, terutama terkait perubahan perilaku generasi Y dan Z, dan bahkan generasi Alpha.
