Analisis Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Materi Barisan dan Deret Pada Siswa Kelas VIII Al-Quds SMP IT Amanah Sungai Penuh

Abstract

Abstrak. Dalam pembelajaran Matematika setiap siswa dituntut untuk memiliki pemahaman yang tinggi agar dapat menyelesaikan soal Matematika. Pemahaman konsep merupakan salah satu pemahaman yang wajib dimiliki siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Matematika. Tingkat pemahaman konsep matematis dapat diukur dalam berbagai materi matematika dan hasilnya dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman yang dimiliki oleh setiap siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Matematika pada materi barisan dan deret. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP IT AMANAH Sungai Penuh dengan subjek yang diambil yaitu siswa kelas VIII Al-Quds Semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023-2024 yang berjumlah 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa tes soal kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis sebanyak 5 butir soal yang telah divalidasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada Kelas VIII Al-Quds SMP IT AMANAH Sungai Penuh tergolong tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh dari nilai tes seluruh siswa yaitu 71,75.

Analysis of the Ability to Understand The Mathematical Concepts in Line and Series Materials
in Students of Class VIII Al-Quds SMP IT Amanah

Abstract. In learning Mathematics, every student is required to have a high level of understanding in order to be able to solve Mathematics problems. Understanding concepts is one of the comprehensions that students must have in solving Mathematics problems. The level of understanding of mathematical concepts can be measured in various mathematics materials and the results can be used as a reference to know the extent to which the understanding that each student possesses. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research was done in SMP IT AMANAH Sungai Penuh with the subject taken is the student of the class VIII Al-Quds the strange 2023-2024 school year of 20 students. The instrument used in this study is a test on the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of five elements of validated issues. The results of the study show the ability of students to understand mathematical concepts in the Class VIII Al-Quds SMP IT AMANAH Sungai Penuh The average score of the whole student's test is 71.75.
