Abstract

Abstrak. Pada zaman sekarang ini kendaraan banyak digunakan oleh kalangan masyarakat. Kendaraan atau alat transportasi yang paling sering digunakan adalah kendaraan roda dua dan roda empat. Secara umum, kendaraan roda dua lebih mudah ditemukan di persimpangan jalan maupun jalanan besar. Semakin banyak penduduk, semakin banyak pula kendaraan yang dibutuhkan. Dalam setiap harinya jumlah kendaraan bertambah banyak sehingga lalu lintas menjadi semakin padat. Hal ini terjadi di Jalan Tamansari, Kota Bandung, yang merupakan tempat yang sering dilalui oleh mahasiswa maupun penduduk setempat. Kawasan Tamansari merupakan kawasan yang strategis sehingga kendaraan-kendaraan sering melewati daerah tersebut dan menyebabkan banyaknya antrian kendaraan. Kawasan yang relatif sibuk menjadi semakin padat disebabkan kendaraan-kendaraan yang lalu lalang maupun yang parkir di daerah tersebut dapat memicu terjadinya kemacetan. Solusi untuk mengurangi antrian kendaraan melalui analisis antrian kendaraan. Dalam artikel ini dilakukan analisis antrian menggunakan aplikasi SimEvents MATLAB. Analisis disusun dengan menggunakan toolbox SimEvents dan dijalankan pada software MATLAB Simulink. SimEvents merupakan aplikasi simulasi diskrit yang dikembangkan oleh MathWorks.

Abstract. In this day and age, the vehicle is widely used by the community. The most frequently used vehicles or means of transportation are two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. In general, two-wheeled vehicles are easier to find at crossroads and major roads. The more people there are, the more vehicles are needed. Every day the number of vehicles increases so that the traffic becomes more congested. This happened on Jalan Tamansari, Bandung City, which is a place frequented by students and locals alike. Tamansari area is a strategic area so that vehicles often pass through the area and cause a lot of vehicle queues. Areas that are relatively busy are becoming increasingly congested due to passing vehicles and parking in the area which can trigger congestion. Solutions to reduce vehicle queues through vehicle queue analysis. In this article, queuing analysis is carried out using the SimEvents MATLAB application. The analysis was compiled using the SimEvents toolbox and run on the MATLAB Simulink software. SimEvents is a discrete simulation application developed by MathWorks.
