Abstract

Abstrak. Dalam melakukan produksi olahan singkong terdapat beberapa variabel yang dapat direpresentasikan ke dalam program linier. Untuk memaksimumkan laba dengan keterbatasan bahan baku yang dimiliki setiap harinya, diperlukan perhitungan yang tepat untuk mengoptimalkan keuntungan dan meminimumkan resiko. Hal ini dilakukan karena keterbatasan bahan baku dan tenaga kerja sehingga produsen memiliki batasan dalam memproduksi olahan singkong dengan jumlah tertentu. Untuk menyederhanakan proses perhitungan namun dapat diperoleh hasil yang tepat, penulis menggunakan aplikasi QM for Windows sebagai alat bantu dalam menyelesaikan penelitian ini dengan hasil akhir berupa keputusan berapa banyak olahan singkong yang harus diproduksi untuk memaksimumkan keuntungan.

Abstract. In the production of processed cassava, there are several variables that can be represented in a linear program. To maximize profits with limited raw materials owned every day, proper calculations are needed to optimize profits and minimize risk. This is done because of the limitations of raw materials and labor so that producers have limitations in producing processed cassava with a certain amount. To simplify the calculation process but get the right results, the author uses the QM for Windows application as a tool in completing this research with the final result in the form of a decision on how much processed cassava should be produced to maximize profits.
