Abstract

Abstrak. PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan BUMN yang memproduksi alat telekomunikasi. Salah satu produk yang dihasilkan yaitu perangkat penerimaan siaran digital berbasis teknologi yang dikenal dengan nama Set Top Box . Proses bisnis yang berjalan di PT. Dalam melakukan proses produksi terdapat beberapa aktivitas yang menyebabkan pemborosan, yaitu adanya produk rework, gerakan operator yang tidak diperlukan, serta tidak adanya penyimpanan khusus produk. Tools yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Value Stream Mapping, 7 waste kuesioner, Diagram Fishbone, 5W+1H dan konsep kaizen 5S. Diagram fishbone digunakan untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab terjadinya pemborosan, sehingga dapat ditentukan usulan perbaikan yang dibutuhkan. Apabila usulan perbaikan diimplementasikan, maka diperkirakan akan menghasilkan total production lead time yang menurun dari 1.054,54 detik menjadi 840,71 detik.

Abstract. PT XYZ is a state-owned company that produces telecommunications equipment. One of the products produced is a technology-based digital broadcast reception device known as Set Top Box. In the production process, there are several activities that cause waste, namely the existence of rework products, unnecessary operator movements, and the absence of special product storage. The tools used in this research are Value Stream Mapping, 7 waste questionnaire, Fishbone Diagram, 5W+1H and 5S kaizen concept. The fishbone diagram is used to analyze the factors that cause waste, so that the proposed improvements can be determined. If the proposed improvements are implemented, it is estimated that the total production lead time will decrease from 1,054.54 seconds to 840.71 seconds.
