Abstract

Abstract. Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is very influential in the inventory control process. Without an MRP process, optimal inventory control will be difficult for companies to realize. Warehouse Refurbish Center Telkom West Bandung (West Bandung RC) is a business unit of PT. Telkom Indonesia engaged in refurbishment services. Currently the West Bandung RC Warehouse does not yet have a method for controlling the supply of ONT accessories, so the accessories ordered are always not in accordance with the quantity needed. The purpose of this study is to provide a proposal for controlling the supply of ONT accessories to the West Bandung RC Warehouse using the MRP lot for lot method. The MRP lot for lot method is used because this method can be a solution to reduce the company's current inventory costs, starting from reducing purchasing costs and accessories storage costs because this method only orders as many accessories as needed, so there is no stock of accessories stored in the Warehouse. . The result of this research is that the lot for lot method can reduce the cost of procuring ONT accessories from IDR 592,708,536, down by IDR 203,793,756 or 34.38% to IDR 388,914,780. Then it is proposed to the West Bandung RC Warehouse to manage inventory of ONT accessories using the MRP lot for lot method.

Abstrak. Perencanaan Kebutuhan Material/Material Requirement Planning (MRP) sangat berpengaruh dalam proses pengendalian persediaan. Tanpa adanya proses MRP pengendalian persediaan yang optimal akan sulit diwujudkan oleh perusahaan. Gudang Refurbish Center Telkom Bandung Barat (RC Bandung Barat) adalah unit usaha dari PT. Telkom Indonesia yang bergerak dibidang jasa refurbish. Saat ini Gudang RC Bandung Barat belum memiliki metode untuk mengendalikan persediaan aksesoris ONT, sehingga aksesoris yang dipesan selalu tidak sesuai dengan jumlah yang dibutuhkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan usulan pengendalian persediaan aksesoris ONT kepada Gudang RC Bandung Barat menggunakan metode MRP lot for lot. Metode MRP lot for lot digunakan karena, metode ini bisa menjadi solusi untuk mengurangi biaya inventori perusahaan saat ini, mulai dari mengurangi biaya pembelian dan biaya penyimpanan aksesoris karena metode ini hanya memesan aksesoris sebanyak yang dibutuhkan saja, sehingga tidak ada stok aksesoris yang disimpan di Gudang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah metode lot for lot mampu mengurangi biaya pengadaan aksesoris ONT dari Rp 592.708.536, turun sebanyak Rp 203.793.756 atau sebesar 34,38% menjadi Rp 388.914.780. Maka diusulkan kepada Gudang RC Bandung Barat untuk mengelola persediaan aksesoris ONT menggunakan MRP metode lot for lot.
