Penentuan Nilai Premi pada Asuransi Pertanian Berbasis Indeks Iklim di Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract

Abstract. Agriculture plays an important role in food security as well as a source of livelihood for millions of farmers with various types of agriculture. However, farmers often experience crop failure which results in losses. One of the causes of crop failure is flooding, especially in Bogor Regency which has the nickname "rain city" due to the high rainfall. The agricultural insurance program is one of the government's efforts to minimize crop failure losses, the insurance system used is climate index insurance where the climate index is not insured. The results of this study are getting the trigger value and exit value that can be determined using the Historical Burn Analysis method, and getting the premium value that must be paid by farmers every planting season by calculating using the Black-Scholes method. The calculation results show that the value of agricultural insurance premiums increases with the greater the trigger value. The range of agricultural insurance premiums is between Rp. 962.848 to Rp. 1.131.893 for the 20th to 80th percentiles of rainfall

Abstrak. Pertanian berperan penting terhadap ketahanan pangan juga sebagai sumber mata pencaharian jutaan petani dengan berbagai jenis pertanian. Namun petani sering kali mengalami gagal panen yang mengakibatkan kerugian. Penyebab terjadinya kegagalan panen diantaranya adalah banjir, khususnya di Kabupaten Bogor yang mempunyai julukan kota hujan dikarenakan  curah hujannya yang cukup tinggi. Program asuransi pertanian adalah salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk meminimalisir kerugian gagal panen, sistem asuransi yang digunakan adalah asuransi indeks iklim dimana yang diasuransikan indek iklimnya bukan tanamannya. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu mendapatkan indeks iklim berupa nilai trigger dan nilai exit yang dapat ditentukan menggunakan metode Historical Burn Analysis, serta mendapatkan nilai premi yang harus dibayarkan petani setiap musim tanam dengan perhitungan menggunakan metode Black-Scholes. Hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa nilai premi asuransi pertanian semakin besar dengan semakin besarnya nilai trigger. Kisaran besaran premi asuransi pertanian berada diantara Rp962.848 sampai Rp1.131.893 untuk persentil curah hujan ke-20 sampai ke-80.terhadap iklan Le Minerale dengan kesadaran merek yang termasuk kategori sedang.
