Abstract

Abstract. Walking is an important activity for humans. With the activity of walking, humans can move from one point to another. Although walking is an important activity for humans, currently pedestrian paths do not receive much attention due to their feasibility. This phenomenon can be seen in the existing condition of Jalan Otto Iskandardinata Corridor, where the pedestrian path is used by
street vendors and motorbike riders as parking, so that pedestrians' feet are disturbed. This research was conducted to assess pedestrian perceptions about the comfort of walking in the corridor on Jalan Otto Iskandardinata, Bandung City as input for increasing the comfort of pedestrian path users in the corridor. The analysis in this study used a quantitative approach with primary data
collection methods through questionnaires and field observations. For the analytical method used multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of multiple linear analysis of the 9 variables analyzed the variables that most affect pedestrian comfort are obstacles(X6), Amenities(X8), and Availability of crossing facilities (X3).
