Abstract

Abstract. Differences in attitudes and behavior of the community of Rawabogo Village in utilizing ecology are driven by differences in motivation to fullfill their needs. One measurement of motivation that can be applied is the use of electroencephalography (EEG) waves. The purpose of this study was to identify the motivation of the community of Rawabogo Tourism Village towards ecological sustainability in the Rawabogo Tourism Village by using electroencephalographic measurements indicatively and to develop agro-ecotourism development efforts in increasing community motivation for ecological sustainability in Rawabogo Village. This research method uses a neuroscience approach by performing entropy analysis and signal wave analysis also supported by questionnaires and eye tracking. The results of this study indicate that the motivation of the people of Rawabogo Village towards ecological sustainability is still low, so efforts need to be made to increase community’s motivation.

 

Abstrak. Perbedaan sikap dan perilaku masyarakat Desa Rawabogo dalam memanfaatkan ekologi didorong oleh perbedaan motivasi dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan. Salah satu pengukuran motivasi yang dapat diterapkan adalah dengan penggunaan gelombang elektroensefalografi (EEG). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi motivasi masyarakat Desa Wisata Rawabogo terhadap keberlangsungan ekologi di Desa Wisata Rawabogo dengan menggunakan pengukuran elektroensefalografi secara indikatif dan menyusun upaya pengembangan agroekowisata dalam meningkatkan motivasi masyarakat terhadap keberlangsungan ekologi di Desa Rawabogo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan neurosains dengan melakukan analisis entropi dan analisis sinyal gelombang serta didukung oleh hasil kuisioner dan pelacakan mata. Hasil dari penelitian ini, diindikasikan motivasi masyarakat Desa Rawabogo terhadap keberlangsungan ekologi masih rendah sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya-upaya dalam peningkatan motivasi masyarakat.
