Abstract

Abstract. Second order linear Non-homogeneous differential equations with constant coefficients can be solved by the method of indeterminate coefficients. However, this method of solution strategy always changes following the non-homogeneous form of a differential equation, and in practice it does not apply to all non-homogeneous differential equations. In addition to the method of indeterminate coefficients, to solve Second order linear Non-homogeneous differential equations with constant can be used variation of parameter method, this method is more general than the constant coefficient method but the parameter variation method does not mention the conditions for boundary problems or initial value problems of a differential equation. Based on the problem of the two methods, the solution  Second order linear Non-homogeneous differential equations with constant using the green function. The result of this research is that the green function built using the parameter variation method can be used as a method to find a solution to the differential equation on the boundary value and initial value problem, which has the solution form.

Abstrak. Persamaan diferensial linear non homogen orde-2 dengan koefisien konstan dapat diselesaikan dengan metode koefisien tak tentu. Namun metode ini strategi penyelesaian selalu berubah-ubah mengikuti bentuk non homogen dari suatu persamaan diferensial, serta pada praktiknya tidak berlaku untuk semua persaman diferensial non homogen. Selain metode koefesien tak tentu, untuk menyelesaikan persamaan diferensial non homogen orde-2 koefesien konstan dapat digunakan metode variasi parameter, metode ini lebih umum daripada metode koefesien konstan akan tetapi pada metode variasi parameter tidak disebutkan mengenai syarat-syarat untuk masalah batas atau masalah nilai awal dari suatu persamaan diferensial. Berdasarkan permasalahan dua metode tersebut maka munculah penyelesaian persamaan diferensial non homogen orde-2 koefesien konstan dengan menggunakan fungsi green. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah fungsi green yang dibangun menggunakan bantuan metode variasi parameter dapat digunakan sebagai metode untuk mencari solusi dari persamaan diferensial pada masalah nilai batas dan nilai awal, di mana memiliki bentuk solusi.
