Identifikasi Sektor Basis dan Sektor Unggulan Ekonomi Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan Tahun 2018-2020

Abstract. The leading sector must have a higher growth potential compared to other sectors in a region, especially capital accumulation, labor absorption growth, and technological progress. The purpose of the study was to determine the basic economic sectors and sectors that have a competitive advantage for the economic growth of South Sulawesi province. Method of analysis research to find out how the analysis of economic potential sectors in South Sulawesi province using analytical tools analysis methods Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift Share analyze.  From the results of LQ analysis, bone superior with 17 basic sectors showed the highest average LQ value in the mining and quarrying sector of 11.91 (>1). This means that this sector can not only meet the needs of South Sulawesi province, but is able to meet the needs of other regions so that the mining and quarrying sector is a potentially export sector. The results of the calculation of shift share Bantaeng superior in 14 sectors, the value of the highest average shift share is fixed in the processing industry sector Mij component value of 82.76 shows that this sector is a fast-growing sector at the national level. While the value of the Cij component of 153.39, means that the processing industry sector has an increasing competitive advantage, because its growth is faster than the National.

Abstrak. Sektor unggulan harus memiliki potensi pertumbuhan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan sektor lain di suatu daerah, terutama akumulasi modal, pertumbuhan penyerapan tenaga kerja, dan kemajuan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui sektor ekonomi basis dan sektor yang memiliki keunggulan kompetitif bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Metode analisis penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana analisis sektor potensi perekonomian di provinsi Sulawesi Selatan yang mengunakan alat analisis metode analisis Location Quotient (LQ) dan Shift Share menganalisis.  Dari hasil analisis LQ, Kabupaten Bone unggul dengan 17 sektor basis menunjukkan nilai LQ rata-rata tertinggi tertuju pada sektor pertambangan dan penggalian sebesar 11.91 (>1). Artinya sektor ini tidak hanya dapat memenuhi kebutuhan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan saja, tapi mampu memenuhi kebutuhan daerah lainnya sehingga sektor pertambangan dan penggalian merupakan sektor yang berpotensi ekspor. Hasil perhitungan shift share Kabupaten Bantaeng unggul di 14 sektor, nilai shift share rata-rata tertinggi tertuju pada sektor industri pengolahan nilai komponen Mij sebesar 82.76 menunjukkan bahwa sektor ini merupakan sektor yang tumbuh cepat di tingkat Nasional. Sedangkan nilai komponen Cij sebesar 153.39, berarti bahwa sektor industri pengolahan mempunyai keunggulan kompetitif yang meningkat, karena pertumbuhannya lebih cepat dari pada Nasional.
