Abstract

Abstract. Liposomes are considered as ideal models that can mimic biological membranes, thus can be used to deliver drugs and other active compounds. For five decades. Lastly, liposomes have received widespread attention as delivery systems for therapeutics active compounds in many scientific disciplines and their applications in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and the food industry as a variety of promising new products. This study aims to know the constituent matrix and the method of making liposome preparations in the delivery system drug. This study was conducted using the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Study results showed that the preparation of liposomes by the thin layer hydration method is the most commonly used method because it is a simple method. The most widely used liposome matrixconstituents are phosphatidylcholine (Lecithin) and cholesterol.

Abstrak. Liposom dianggap sebagai model ideal yang dapat meniru membran biologis, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk menghantarkan obat maupun senyawa aktif lainnya. Selama lima dekade terakhir, liposom telah secara luas menjadi perhatian sebagai sistem penghantaran untuk terapi senyawa aktif dalam banyak disiplin ilmu dan penerapannya dalam bidang farmasi, kosmetik, dan industri makanan sebagai terobosan produk baru yang menjanjikan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui matriks penyusun dan metode pembuatan sediaan liposom dalam system penghantaran obat. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan metode SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Hasil kajian menunjukkanbbahwa pembuatan liposom dengan meyode hidrasi lapis tipis merupakan metide yang paling umum digunakan karena termasuk metode yang sederhana. Penyusun liposom atau matriks yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu kombinasi fosfatidilkolin (lesitin ) dan kolestrol .
